The role of Account Coordinator at MC&A is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to support the Sales Team primarily by coordinating the success of various programs. This full-time, remote position requires residence in Phoenix and offers an hourly wage of $25. The Account Coordinator is responsible for creating and developing custom proposals, managing vendor communications, generating letters of agreement and contracts, maintaining sales kits and promotional materials, and providing program support including on-site assistance when necessary. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment. An ideal candidate will possess 1-2 years of experience in the DMC industry or related event planning fields and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential. The position typically runs Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, though evening and weekend flexibility may be required to meet business demands. Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ experience in the DMC industry and/or event planning preferred
  • in depth knowledge of destination
  • excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • strong problem-solving and analytical skills including decision making, time management, and task prioritization
  • ability to manage concurrent projects in deadline driven environment
  • detail oriented, resourceful and able to work independently as well as with a team
  • self-starter with minimal direction, sense of urgency and dedication to accomplishment

Job Duties

  • Create/develop custom proposals
  • reserve/confirm vendors maintaining open communication throughout proposal and contracting process
  • generate Letter of Agreement (LOA) s and contracts
  • create/update sales kits and promotional materials
  • provide program support (sometimes on-site) as needed
  • manage and develop vendor library through research (product development)
  • build strong relationships with customers (internal and external) and vendors/suppliers
  • maintain schedule flexibility including evenings/weekends as required
