Job Requirements

  • must reside in Phoenix
  • full-time availability
  • competency in Microsoft Office
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • detail oriented
  • ability to work independently and in a team
  • flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years’ experience in the DMC industry and/or event planning preferred
  • in depth knowledge of destination
  • excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • strong problem-solving and analytical skills including decision making, time management, and task prioritization
  • ability to manage concurrent projects in deadline driven environment
  • detail oriented, resourceful and able to work independently as well as with a team
  • self-starter with minimal direction, sense of urgency and dedication to accomplishment

Job Duties

  • Create/develop custom proposals
  • reserve/confirm vendors maintaining open communication throughout proposal and contracting process
  • generate Letter of Agreement (LOA) s and contracts
  • create/update sales kits and promotional materials
  • provide program support (sometimes on-site) as needed
  • manage and develop vendor library through research (product development)
  • build strong relationships with customers (internal and external) and vendors/suppliers
  • maintain schedule flexibility including evenings/weekends as required
