Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three years of relevant experience required
  • Authorization to work full-time in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three years of relevant experience required five years preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in event planning and budget management
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and event management software
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion

Job Duties

  • Plan, design, and execute faculty-focused events managing venue selection decor catering audiovisual setup and university policy compliance
  • Maintain event calendars in collaboration with academic leadership
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors
  • Assist with agenda development
  • Manage invitee lists and RSVP tracking
  • Develop and manage event budgets including cost estimation tracking expenditures processing payments and ensuring alignment with financial guidelines
  • Provide administrative support for Vice Provost Faculty Senate and Chair Leadership Initiative including meeting coordination documentation and communication
  • Oversee hospitality initiatives such as assembling gift bags coordinating Provost's Christmas cards and birthday lunches and managing card ministry
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Comply with university policies
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
