Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to perform all phases of mixing operation
- knowledge of ingredient locations and types
- capability to make adjustments of water and yeast based on temperature and humidity
- ability to monitor dough quality and identify issues
- ability to assist with training and follow procedures
- willingness to work in production floor environment exposed to dust and machinery
- legal authorization to work in the US
- successful completion of background check and drug screen
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food production or mixing operations preferred
- ability to understand batch tickers and measuring instruments
- knowledge of dough mixing processes
- capacity to train and mentor new employees
Job Duties
- perform all phases of the mixing operation including knowledge of location and types of ingredients measuring and weighing processes reading and understanding batch tickers
- make appropriate adjustments of water and yeast relative to temperature and humidity with minimal supervision
- monitor the dough quality and identify problems and make necessary adjustments
- assist in training new mixer operators and stay up to date on new work methods and job procedures
- assist in other work areas as directed by supervisor
