Job Requirements
- Previous experience working in a bakery or customer service area preferred
- ability to follow instructions and procedures
- working knowledge of the baking process
- available for flexible scheduling to meet department needs

- good manual dexterity
- ability to lift 30 lbs or more with appropriate equipment

Job Duties
- Assist in preparing raw materials according to receipts or supervisor’s instructions
- assist with baking processes including forming, cutting, shaping, and baking dough
- ensure bakery products have proper signage and are well-merchandised
- unload deliveries, stock shelves, and organize stockroom
- monitor product expiration and replenish stock accordingly
- wrap and pack bakery items accurately for customers
- maintain safe working environment and cleanliness
- coordinate with maintenance department for cleanliness needs
- control and monitor department assets
- handle expired and recalled products properly
- perform product demos to promote sales
- greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- follow cash handling procedures and complete checkout process
- perform other duties as assigned
