Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the entire operations of the restaurant. This key leadership role requires managing all facets of the business, from financial performance, product production, inventory control, and staff management to sales and marketing initiatives. The Restaurant Manager ensures the establishment runs efficiently and profitably while maintaining an outstanding guest experience in line with company and franchisor standards. This role operates under the supervision of the District Manager or General Manager, working collaboratively to develop and execute business strategies, known as the game plan, aimed at achieving operational goals and enhancing overall restaurant performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing diverse functions, including implementing PRIDE systems and routines that support operational excellence. The Restaurant Manager takes a proactive approach to customer service by addressing guest feedback promptly and fostering a positive, productive work environment. Staff recruitment, training, and development are vital components of the role to ensure high performance and alignment with the company culture. Effective scheduling and labor management balance the needs of busy service periods with cost control measures to optimize profitability. Additionally, the Restaurant Manager works closely with local community organizations such as the chamber of commerce and schools to boost sales and community engagement.

This hands-on leadership position demands the ability to manage multiple areas simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. A detail-oriented mindset, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong business acumen are essential qualities. Physical requirements include the capability to withstand prolonged periods of standing, working in varying temperature conditions, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three to five years of restaurant management experience preferred
  • Proven track record managing COGS and labor
  • Excellent customer service and employee relations skills
  • Detail oriented with ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a high volume restaurant
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Positive attitude and good personal hygiene

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three to five years of restaurant management experience preferred
  • Strong experience in quick-service restaurant (QSR) environment preferred
  • Proven track record in management of cost of goods sold (COGS) and labor
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong employee relations skills

Job Duties

  • Oversees and manages all areas of restaurant and makes final decisions on matters of importance
  • Ensures that all PRIDE systems and routines are incorporated into the day-to-day operations of the restaurant
  • Responsible for the development and achievement of the restaurant’s game plan by working with their DM and or GM
  • Ensures guest service in all areas meets company standards
  • Responds to customer complaints, taking prompt and appropriate action to resolve problems and to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained
  • Works with local chamber and schools to increase restaurant sales
  • Staffs, trains and develops assistant managers and hourly employees through orientations, ongoing feedback, the establishment of performance expectations and by conducting performance reviews
  • Responsible for effective management schedules and ensures that restaurant is properly staffed for all day parts and sales volumes
  • Manages restaurant P&L to optimize manageable profit, controls COGS, labor, and controllables (semi-fixed expenses)
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested by DM
  • Manages entire restaurant operations through staff development, sales and profitability growth
  • Ensures restaurant compliance with company standards, policies and procedures
  • Promotes a positive work environment to maximize employee morale, productivity and efficiency
