Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred
- Certification and/or license to operate powered industrial forklifts required
- Valid driver’s license required during course of employment
- Ability to work safely and follow established safety policies and procedures
- Ability to follow directions and work with little supervision
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Availability to work occasional overtime
- Ability to use cleaning and sanitizing chemicals appropriately
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Janitorial or cleaning experience preferred
- Certification and/or license to operate powered industrial forklifts

- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals
- Ability to work safely and follow established policies, procedures, and laws
- Ability to follow directions and carry out instructions with little supervision
- Ability to legibly write entries for record-keeping
- Ability to perform simple math
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Basic Microsoft Office skills a plus
Job Duties
- Maintain a safe and clean internal building appearance through good housekeeping, organization, and management of walking surfaces
- Follow work schedules to complete all required cleaning and sanitizing, and complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders
- Perform custodian duties, such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, picking up debris, emptying trash cans and recycling, and general cleaning, including using equipment such as floor sweepers, polishers, vacuum cleaners, dusters, forklifts, and company vehicles
- Maintain restrooms, locker rooms, breakrooms, and footbaths in a sanitary manner, replenish supplies and paper products
- Maintain inventory of cleaning and other supplies
- notify appropriate contact or update supply sheet to re-order supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of exterior of building, and outdoor facilities and grounds, which may involve operating power equipment for general grounds maintenance
- Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
- Use chemicals to sanitize and clean the facility
- Perform related duties as requested by environmental health and safety, maintenance, management, or other staff including coordinating and preparing for inspections and special events
- Distribute personal protective equipment when needed
- Follow all laws, regulations, safety requirements, and wear proper PPE
- Implement all GMPs and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
- Inform QA personnel of any quality issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
