The role of the 3rd Shift Concierge at Resort Lifestyle Communities is integral to sustaining the community’s safety and smooth functioning throughout the overnight hours. This position demands a reliable individual who is committed to maintaining cleanliness, responding promptly and calmly to emergencies, and enhancing resident satisfaction during the less visible yet critical nighttime period. Your responsibilities will include maintaining exceptional cleanliness across the community through tasks like vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing high-touch areas. In emergencies, you will act swiftly to coordinate with responders while remaining calm to safeguard residents and staff. Administrative tasks such as processing room-service requests, selling meal tickets, distributing menus, scheduling transportation, and managing records are essential for supporting smooth community operations. This full-time position requires the ability to work overnight from Thursday through Monday, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, maintaining alertness throughout each shift. Job Requirements
- At least 21 years old with valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Able to valet park vehicles safely
- Able to work Thursday through Monday from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am while staying present and alert for entire shift
- Must meet local alcohol service requirements
- Must obtain food handler permits within two weeks of hire
- Adaptable and flexible to shifting priorities
- Reliable in completing tasks accurately and on time
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and staff
- Knowledge of the local community preferred
- Team-oriented with proactive approach and attention to detail
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Job Duties
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout the community including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, operating floor scrubber, maintaining indoor pond, refreshing restrooms and bistro, sanitizing high-touch surfaces, rolling silverware, emptying waste baskets, dusting, replenishing ice, cleaning coffee and ice cream machines, caring for salad bar, ensuring shared spaces and furnishings are tidy and stocked
- Respond calmly and quickly to emergencies, monitor resident call systems, coordinate with emergency responders as needed
- Support community safety by monitoring building systems including fire alarms, following emergency protocols, guiding residents during fires or severe weather events
- Assist with administrative support by taking room-service requests, selling meal tickets, distributing menus, completing porch drops, scheduling transportation, maintaining organized records
- Support community operations by walking the community, proactively noticing and reporting concerns, assisting with event setup, providing responsible alcohol service during gatherings
- Create memorable first impressions by greeting residents, families, and guests, answering calls professionally, anticipating needs, offering courteous valet services
- Welcome new residents by introducing yourself whenever you see them
