Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a fast-growing, family-owned company with over 60 communities nationwide dedicated to serving seniors. At RLC, the focus is on creating a supportive and welcoming resort-style environment that fosters happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations. The company is deeply committed to its Core Values: Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence. These values guide every aspect of the operations and the culture within each community. RLC believes that serving seniors is not just a job but a calling, and the organization prioritizes building a close-knit, servant-hearted community where every team member feels valued and empowered to make a positive impact.
The role of the 2nd Shift Concierge is a vital position within the community, acting as the welcoming face to residents, families, and guests during the evening hours. This dynamic and hands-on role requires the ability to multitask and provide excellent customer service. The 2nd Shift Concierge is stationed at the front desk, serving as the first point of contact by greeting visitors and answering phone calls promptly. Beyond these duties, the individual will also be expected to assist proactively across various operational areas as needed, demonstrating adaptability and a team-oriented approach.
This position requires working Thursday through Monday from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, making it essential for candidates to be reliable and flexible with scheduling. The ideal candidate will have a professional appearance, possess excellent communication skills, and be skilled at anticipating the needs of residents and visitors. Responsibilities extend to performing valet parking services, responding promptly to emergencies, overseeing safety systems, handling administrative duties, supporting community operations like dining and events, and maintaining the overall cleanliness and security of the community. The role also includes assisting new residents with the orientation process to ensure a smooth transition.
RLC values employees who are proactive, have strong problem-solving abilities, and demonstrate attention to detail. Additionally, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, and Excel is required. Candidates must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver's license with a clean record, and be capable of safely performing valet services. Compliance with local alcohol service regulations and obtaining food handler permits within two weeks of hire are also mandatory.
The compensation package is competitive and includes access to pay any time, a $341 benefit stipend per pay period to apply toward various insurance coverages, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with employer match. RLC ensures that employees are supported with a comprehensive benefits program that enhances overall well-being and financial security.
Joining RLC means becoming part of a company where your work genuinely matters and where the community spirit is cultivated daily. The role of the 2nd Shift Concierge is a unique opportunity to contribute to an environment where residents feel valued and cared for, and where team members enjoy the rewards of working in a vibrant, purpose-driven setting.
