Job Description
Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) is a fast-growing, family-owned company dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for seniors across more than 60 communities nationwide. At RLC, serving seniors is not just a job but a calling that is deeply rooted in the company's core values of Respect, Honesty, Kindness & Compassion, and Service Excellence. The company prides itself on fostering a close-knit, servant-hearted community where employees, residents, and families feel valued and supported. RLC operates with four essential goals that guide its success: ensuring happy employees, happy residents, full occupancy, and on-budget operations. These goals reflect the company’s commitment to a positive work environment, resident satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial responsibility.
The role of the 2nd Shift Concierge at RLC is pivotal in creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all community members and visitors. As the face of the community during the second shift, the concierge is the first point of contact for residents, families, and guests. This dynamic and hands-on position requires the individual to manage front desk responsibilities while proactively offering support wherever needed within the community. The concierge plays a key role in ensuring safety, security, and exceptional customer service, making every effort to meet and anticipate the needs of the residents.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing valet parking services, greeting and assisting residents, attending to phone calls, responding promptly to emergencies, and supporting building safety protocols including fire alarm monitoring and emergency resident assistance. Additionally, administrative duties such as scheduling transportation, maintaining accurate records, coordinating guest suite reservations, and managing office supplies play a crucial part in the daily operations. Participation in dining room coverage, event setup, and responsible alcohol service also forms part of the supportive community operations. Maintaining cleanliness and building security is essential, as well as welcoming new residents and guiding them through orientation for a seamless transition.
This position requires a person with a strong customer service background, excellent communication and organizational skills, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of the local community are preferred. Applicants must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, as they will also be performing valet parking duties. The working schedule is Thursday through Monday from 3:00pm to 11:30pm, making it a second-shift position ideally suited for candidates who thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
Working at RLC means joining a company that not only provides competitive compensation and benefits, including a $341 benefit stipend to apply towards health, dental, vision, life insurance, and other valuable plans but also supports employees through access to pay anytime, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with employer match. RLC’s supportive leadership and resort-style community atmosphere make it a rewarding place to work where you can truly make a difference every day by supporting seniors with heart and professionalism.
