Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in retail or customer service
- Ability to stand for long periods and move throughout the store
- Ability to lift, carry, and reach including heavy boxes and use of ladders
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and early mornings
- Compliance with federal, state, and local job requirements
- Must be able to perform physical duties required by the position

- Experience working with children and children’s events
- Retail and/or customer service experience
- Excellent people skills and communication skills including written, verbal, and listening
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others

Job Duties
- Plan and coordinate multiple in-store events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
- Engage with clients of all ages by creating a fun and creative environment
- Demonstrate and instruct participants in craft projects and activities
- Facilitate and implement event add-ons such as goody bags and balloons
- Communicate event details with clients and store team members
- Complete administrative tasks such as answering emails and making phone calls
- Adjust event plans based on client feedback and create emergency backup plans
- Ensure client satisfaction and uphold safety and cleanliness standards
- Assist customers in shopping and provide product solutions
- Provide fast and friendly checkout experience
- Educate customers on rewards program and credit cards
- Participate in inventory processes including truck unload and stocking
- Maintain merchandise displays and perform store recovery
- Support company shrink and safety programs
- Adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies
- Maintain store cleanliness and participate in daily cleaning activities
- Cross-trained in custom framing selling and production
