Employment type includes both full-time and part-time positions. Full-time associates typically work around 35 hours per week and must be available for shifts on Fridays and Saturdays, while part-time associates can work up to 25 hours per week based on scheduling needs. This is an on-site role requiring physical presence during scheduled shifts. Job Requirements

Must be over the age of 21
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift regularly up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
Ability to push and pull up to 100 pounds regularly
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
Ability to see product and signage clearly
Ability to follow safety regulations
Valid TABC permit and possibly Food Handlers Permit
Must be punctual and reliable
Must adhere to scheduled shift times
Must limit personal cell phone use on the sales floor
Must maintain a professional and helpful demeanor at all times

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred
Retail sales experience preferred
Strong product knowledge is a plus
Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple instructions or memos
Ability to communicate clearly with coworkers and guests
Bilingual skills are a plus
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Ability to calculate discounts and percentages
Friendly, patient, and outgoing personality
Reliable and responsible work ethic
Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills
Ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment
Valid TABC Beverage Sellers Permit required
Valid Food Handlers Permit in some cases

Job Duties

Know and actively demonstrate daily company mission statement and core values
Maintain uniform standard for all worked hours
Demonstrate superior product knowledge
Greet guests and engage in conversation with a helpful demeanor
Recommend merchandise based on guest needs focusing on in-house brands
Answer guest questions about price and use of merchandise
Create client relationships with regular guests
Assist guests by carrying product to register counters and carrying out products
Operate cash register as needed
Receive stock as required
Prepare promotional events
Set up displays and arrange merchandise to promote sales
Front merchandise and rotate stock for freshness
Maintain neat and orderly sales floor and back stock
Clean shelves, aisles, and tables to prevent hazards
Maintain fresh and readable price tags
Provide feedback to management about stock and sales
Prepare sales floor and storage areas for inventory and assist in inventory process
Properly use and maintain computers and RF scanners
Continually improve skills and product knowledge
Avoid conversations with coworkers when guests present
Limit personal cell phone use to work activities on sales floor
Follow management directives efficiently
Fulfill responsibilities with care and attention to detail
Practice teamwork and cooperation
Manage stress and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA standards
Regularly lift and move products up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
Perform other projects and tasks assigned by management
Maintain attendance and timeliness, no remote work
