As a part-time Porter and Valet, reporting directly to the Front Office Manager or Rooms Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests' comfort and satisfaction. Your responsibilities will involve offering professional porter and valet services to arriving and departing guests, assisting with luggage handling, and providing courteous and timely responses to various guest requests. This role is central to creating a positive first and last impression for guests, contributing significantly to their overall hotel experience. The position offers a starting pay from $12.00 per hour and requires a proactive, enthusiastic approach to customer service. Working flexible hours, including nights and weekends, the ideal candidate will be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.

In addition to greeting guests and assisting with their vehicles and luggage, you will also promote the hotel's services by providing up-to-date information about local attractions and hotel amenities. Collaboration with other departments and staff to support the best overall hotel performance will be essential. Your ability to handle a variety of tasks, from driving manual and automatic transmission vehicles to delivering guest requests such as laundry or newspapers, will be indispensable in maintaining high service standards. This position requires physical stamina for prolonged standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting luggage up to 70 lbs, and a clean driving record is mandatory. A background check and a valid driver's license are also requirements.
