Job Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
- Ability to safely operate trucks, tractors, and other motorized vehicles
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays and varying shifts as required
- Strong adherence to health, safety, and company policies
- Must maintain professionalism and composure when interacting with guests
- Must be detail-oriented and safety conscious
- Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks including cleaning and minor repairs
- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Must be willing to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
Job Qualifications
- One or more years’ experience in customer service, retail, front desk or administrative services for Front Desk and Housekeeping roles
- Two or more years’ experience in grounds, facility and site maintenance or equivalent for Groundskeeping and Maintenance roles
- Knowledge of camping lifestyle preferred
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Experience using cloud-based reservation and POS systems is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
- Valid driver’s license for Groundskeeping and Maintenance roles
Job Duties
- Manage reservations using cloud-based POS and PMS system
- Ring up POS sales in camp store and handle cash and credit card transactions
- Assist guests with inquiries and service requests
- Answer phone calls and communicate effectively with team members
- Maintain clean working and guest areas
- Inspect facilities for safety and health compliance
- Operate groundskeeping and maintenance equipment safely
- Perform routine maintenance including electrical, carpentry, plumbing tasks
- Clean and stock accommodations and common areas
- Complete special projects to enhance the campground
- Handle honey-wagon duties
- Drive work vehicles like trucks and tractors safely
