Paragon Sports Marketing, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Playfly, LLC, specializes in managing the Gatorade Sports Program. As a key player in sports marketing, Paragon partners with universities to execute successful hydration and nutrition programs through Gatorade's brand presence. The company focuses on enhancing athletes' performance experiences by providing top-quality sports drinks and innovative hydration solutions at various sports events and camps. The Gatorade Sports Program is renowned for its impact on sports and athletic environments by delivering essential hydration resources and promoting healthy athletic performance across various campuses during peak sports seasons.

The role of Gatorade Team Leader within Paragon Sports Marketing offers an exciting opportunity to engage closely with university athletic programs and summer sports camps. This position supports the effective execution of the Gatorade Program onsite by distributing Gatorade products, managing beverage stations, transporting product and premiums, and offering exceptional customer service to athletes, camp directors, parents, and coaches. As a Gatorade Team Leader, you will be the face of the Gatorade brand at events, responsible for ensuring product availability, cleanliness, and compliance with Paragon's standards and policies. Employment is part-time, typically from May through August, offering a pay rate starting at $11.00 per hour or the applicable state minimum wage, whichever is higher.

In this role, you will engage in a variety of tasks, including mixing and dispensing Gatorade products at camp locations, maintaining storage and inventory, and answering questions to support a smooth and professional summer sports camp experience. Team Leaders are expected to exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work effectively under deadlines in a fast-paced team environment. Physical demands include lifting up to 15 pounds, maneuvering around campus and camp sites, and operating golf carts or similar vehicles. The position requires compliance with Paragon's drug and alcohol policy and may be subject to related testing.

Job Duties

  • Attend all required training
  • assist in managing the inventory and storage of Gatorade product and premiums
  • deliver talking points to athletes as they receive Gatorade products
  • be available to answer questions of camp directors, parents, and camp athletes
  • manage product mixing areas, which should be neat and clean at all times
  • help maintain Gatorade distribution areas
  • transport product and premiums to camp site locations
  • mix and dispense Gatorade product for summer sports camp attendees
  • distribute Gatorade products at appropriate times and temperatures
  • notify manager when product and premiums are running low
  • communicate with manager regarding scheduling
  • clean on-site Gatorade stations, product mixing areas, and equipment daily
  • assist with the delivery of product and premiums
  • return items to proper storage area at the end of each day
  • report promptly if any issues affect Gatorade's involvement in camps
  • perform additional assigned duties as needed to execute the Gatorade Program
