Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Must obtain Texas driver’s license within 90 days if new resident
- Over age 21
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Ability to use industrial machinery for heavy pallets
- Must have clear driving record
- Ability to work any shift Friday or Saturday
- Ability to be punctual and reliable
- Compliance with OSHA and company safety regulations
- Ability to read and write simple instructions
- Ability to perform basic math without aids
- Good communication skills
- Open availability Monday through Saturday
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1-2 years of driving experience preferred
- Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions
- Effective communication skills with coworkers and customers
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and decimals
- Strong work ethic and self-starter attitude
- Patience, friendliness, and outgoing personality
- Ability to manage stress in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Class C driver's license
- Open availability Monday through Saturday
Job Duties
- Know and actively demonstrate daily company mission and core values
- Maintain uniform standard for all worked hours
- Maintain a clear driving record
- Maintain safe driving practices and speeds
- Maintain a neat and orderly vehicle
- Receive and verify contents of all shipments
- Make notes on invoices for variances and damages during deliveries
- Return damaged products including tax stamps
- Maintain driver route sheet after every stop
- Ensure compliance with filing system for transfer paperwork
- Assist in unloading when required
- Receive payment for deliveries and verify amounts
- Inform manager of inventory issues or discrepancies
- Provide feedback to management regarding delivery vehicle issues
- Fulfill directives of management efficiently
- Practice teamwork and cooperation
- Create and maintain strong professional relationships with customers
- Provide superb customer service
- Possess time management skills and prioritize tasks
- Manage stress in fast-paced environment
- Work in accordance with safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with team members and guests
- Use industrial machines to move pallets up to 2400 pounds
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Maintain attendance and timeliness
