Known for its vibrant yet sophisticated ambiance, the 1833 Club offers an exclusive setting where guests can enjoy a variety of beverages and culinary delights while receiving personalized attention from a team committed to excellence. The establishment thrives on creating a memorable and enjoyable environment for all patrons, combining a high energy atmosphere with meticulous attention to detail and guest satisfaction.
This role as a VIP Lounge Server (1833 Club Server) at the 1833 Club offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-paced, dynamic environment where great guest service is the cornerstone of daily operations. The starting pay for this position is $7.25 per hour plus tips, requiring flexibility to work various shifts to meet business needs. Candidates who are passionate about providing unsurpassed guest service and who excel in a team-oriented setting will find this role rewarding and challenging.
As a VIP Lounge Server, you will be the face of the 1833 Club, responsible for delivering a seamless dining and beverage experience to guests. This includes greeting patrons warmly, accurately taking and serving orders, and attending to their needs promptly and courteously. Your role will extend to operating point-of-sale (POS) systems for order processing and payment transactions, maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work area, and ensuring compliance with all internal controls and beverage service regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
Knowledge of beverage and menu selections, specials, promotions, and ongoing events will be essential to inform and assist guests effectively. Additionally, thorough familiarity with the casino and hotel layout is vital to provide accurate directions and respond to guest inquiries confidently. You may also be required to work at other venues within the property based on business requirements, enhancing your exposure and experience within the hospitality industry.
This position demands not only excellent communication and interpersonal skills but also adherence to high ethical standards, integrity, and dedication to the company’s mission and values. Physical stamina and the ability to work irregular hours—including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays—are necessary to accommodate the operational needs of a 24/7 high-volume service environment.
Successful candidates will embrace ongoing professional development, including achieving certifications in Responsible Alcohol Service and ServSafe within the designated timeframe. The role emphasizes teamwork, guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean, safe, and well-stocked environment to sustain an exceptional standard of service. Ultimately, the VIP Lounge Server plays a critical role in supporting the 1833 Club's reputation as a premier destination for guests seeking an extraordinary hospitality experience.
