We are currently hiring for a full-time Housekeeper position at the Lehigh Valley Health Network facility located at 1200 South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Allentown, PA. This role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients, visitors, and staff within the healthcare setting. The position follows a full-time schedule with working hours from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm, with varying days and the requirement to work every other weekend and holidays. Candidates must apply online.

The Housekeeper plays a vital role in the healthcare environment by performing light cleaning duties that ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the hospital, including patient rooms, hallways, and public areas. Responsibilities include tasks such as making beds with fresh linens, vacuuming carpets and upholstery, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors, dusting furniture, cleaning wash basins, mirrors, tubs, showers, and metal fixtures. Maintaining sanitary disposal of trash and responding promptly to housekeeping issues like spills or broken items are also key components of the job.

Housekeepers at Crothall are encouraged to provide exceptional customer service, offering personalized attention and professionally communicating with patients, visitors, and colleagues. This position requires reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to creating a welcoming, hygienic environment that supports patient recovery and satisfaction. Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting is required to qualify for this role.

This opportunity offers a fixed pay rate of $17.25 per hour and comprehensive benefits for full-time team members.
