The Barista position at Bashas' Starbucks is essential in delivering the Starbucks Experience to customers within the Bashas' stores. This role demands a friendly, responsible individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service and product quality. Baristas are tasked with preparing quality beverages, whole bean coffee, and food consistently according to Starbucks recipes and presentation standards. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be 21 years of age for any position that serves alcohol
- Ability to stand, sit, lift up to 50 lbs, push, bend, walk, keyboard, and use telephone for extended periods
- Must be endorsed by current leader for internal transfers, promotions, or rehires
- Rehires must be approved by HRBP
- May be asked to accept a part-time position if that is the only position available

Job Duties
- Provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
- Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
- Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote the culture, values, and the mission of both Bashas and Starbucks
- Operating a register and accurately handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change
- Assisting all customers by providing information and resolving any complaints
- Assisting with stocking shelves, facing, cleaning, and dusting as needed
- Maintaining safety and sanitation standards throughout the store
