Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience in a similar steward role preferred
- ability to follow kitchen sanitation and safety standards
- physical ability to stand, walk, crouch, climb stairs, reach overhead, push, pull, lift, and carry weights up to 50 lbs
- wear slip-resistant footwear
- effective communication skills
- ability to work in fast-paced kitchen environments

Job Duties
- assist chefs with kitchen cleanliness
- unload delivery trucks using FIFO method
- wash and power wash floors
- scrub walls and clean hot boxes
- ensure dishes and equipment are clean and stored properly
- take out trash and break down boxes
- sweep and mop walk-in coolers, kitchen areas, and banquet spaces
- assist chefs with banquet plate up and event preparation
- maintain safe and clean operating environment ensuring compliance with local health codes
