The Ready-Mix Driver role at Heidelberg Materials North America plays a critical part in the supply chain by ensuring timely and safe delivery of concrete to customer job sites. The driver must maintain accurate delivery documentation, adhere to all safety protocols, and occasionally support plant operations to help maintain workflow efficiency. Job Requirements

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Job Duties

  • Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete to customer job sites
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and teammates
  • Maintain accurate delivery documentation and follow all safety protocols
  • Support plant operations when needed to ensure smooth workflow
