Zippy's

Zippy's is a beloved Hawaiian fast-casual restaurant chain that has been serving the islands since 1966. Founded by brothers Francis and Charles Higa, the first location opened on South King Street in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The name "Zippy's" was inspired by the popularity of zip codes at the time, symbolizing speed and efficiency in service. Over the decades, Zippy's has expanded to 23 locations across Hawaii including O'ahu, Maui, and Hawai'i, as well as Las Vegas, Nevada.

The restaurant is renowned for its diverse menu that blends American, Japanese, Chinese, and Hawaiian fusion cuisines, catering to a wide range of tastes. One of their signature dishes is the chili, with Zippy's selling approximately 110 tons every month through their stores, fundraising activities, and in retail markets.

In addition to its main menu, Zippy's operates Napoleon's Bakery, offering a variety of baked goods such as the popular Apple Napple, malasadas, and andagi. Many Zippy's locations feature a separate counter for Napoleon's Bakery, allowing customers to enjoy freshly baked treats alongside their meals.
