Recent Changes

In August 2023, Southeastern Grocers announced the sale of its Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarket stores to Aldi Süd, a German supermarket chain.

This acquisition included approximately 400 stores across the southeastern United States.

However, in February 2025, a consortium of private investors, led by Southeastern Grocers' CEO Anthony Hucker and C&S Wholesale Grocers, reacquired approximately 170 stores from Aldi.
