About Victory Taproom

Victory Taproom was founded in 1996 by childhood friends Ron Barchet and Bill Covaleski and has become a cornerstone of the craft beer movement in Eastern Pennsylvania. Their journey began in Downingtown, PA, and over the years, they have expanded with multiple locations, including the Parkesburg and Philadelphia taprooms.

Parkesburg Location

The Parkesburg taproom, located at 3127 Lower Valley Road, serves as the flagship brewery and taproom. This state-of-the-art facility features a German-built ROLEC brewhouse with a production capacity of ten 200-barrel brews per day, totaling a daily capacity of 2,000 barrels.

Visitors can enjoy a diverse selection of Victory's award-winning beers such as Golden Monkey, DirtWolf, and Prima Pils. The spacious dining area offers a beer-inspired food menu paired with fresh beer directly from the source.

The brewery provides self-guided tours for beer enthusiasts to learn about the brewing process firsthand. It also offers versatile spaces for private events or gatherings, accommodating various occasions.

Philadelphia Location

Victory expanded with a 14,000-square-foot brewery and taproom in Philadelphia located at 1776 Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Logan Square. The facility features a custom Prospero Brewing System, a full scratch kitchen, two indoor bars, one outdoor bar, and a rooftop patio with panoramic views of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

The Philadelphia taproom offers an extensive range of Victory beers and selections from affiliated sister brands like Southern Tier Brewing Company, Sixpoint Brewing Company, and Bold Rock Hard Cider.

The menu is known for beer-inspired dishes such as soft pretzels, cheesesteaks, and loaded fries topped with Victory Prima Pils cheese sauce. The rooftop patio provides a unique setting for guests to enjoy meals and drinks while taking in the cityscape.

Guest Experience and Policies

Victory Taproom is committed to a welcoming and inclusive environment. Both Parkesburg and Philadelphia locations are family-friendly and welcome all ages, though alcohol consumption is restricted to guests 21 and older.

Dogs are not permitted inside the taprooms unless they are service animals, but they are allowed on the lower-level outdoor patios. Both locations offer beer to-go in crowlers or packaged retail products, and guests can bring cleaned growlers for refills.

Event Hosting

Both locations offer spaces suitable for private events:

  • Parkesburg taproom with versatile gathering areas
  • Philadelphia location with rooftop patio and indoor event spaces

Guests interested in hosting can inquire directly at the respective taprooms.

Summary

Victory Taproom continues to be a pioneer in the craft beer industry, offering innovative brews, a diverse food menu, and a vibrant atmosphere at both their Parkesburg and Philadelphia locations.
