USA Hockey National Team Development Program (NTDP)

A cornerstone of the arena's offerings is its role as the home of USA Hockey's National Team Development Program (NTDP). The NTDP comprises two elite squads—the U.S. National Under-17 and Under-18 Teams—assembled from top young talent across the nation.

These teams engage in a rigorous schedule that includes games against United States Hockey League opponents, NCAA Division I and III teams, and international competition.

The NTDP's mission is to prepare student-athletes under the age of 18 for participation on the U.S. National Teams and success in their future hockey careers.

Notably, it is home to the Summer Drive-In Movie Theater, operating from Memorial Day to Labor Day, featuring three large screens for a unique cinematic experience.

Additionally, the arena offers skating programs, youth leagues, and houses CJ's Brewing Company, providing a full-service dining experience for visitors.

Renovations and Enhancements

In 2015, USA Hockey acquired the arena, leading to substantial renovations aimed at enhancing both athlete training and fan experience.

A 20,000 square-foot addition was constructed, featuring a state-of-the-art training facility equipped with dryland shooting stations, a skating treadmill, and a track.

This expansion allows for the accommodation of 60 to 70 athletes simultaneously, supporting various events and training sessions.

The arena's rebranding includes updated video boards, a new sound system, and digital signage, all contributing to an improved atmosphere for attendees.
