Since 1989 University Behavioral Center, a psychiatric hospital, in Orlando, FL. has been dedicated to providing comprehensive, high-quality mental health and substance abuse treatment services. We provide a full range of program options for children, adolescents and adults. Our goal is to enable individuals to improve their overall quality of life in a comfortable and safe environment. Located on a beautiful 14-acre campus in Orlando, FL., UBC is within the Central Florida Research Park Development and neighbors the University of Central Florida. UBC has state of the art facilities including: an onsite school, swimming pool, wellness center/gymnasium and an outdoor reflection atrium. The hospital is divided into two physically separate wings, the children/adolescent wing and the adult wing. Each wing is subdivided into secured units. Secure 24-hour supervision ensures a safe and therapeutic living environment. University Behavioral Center proudly supports a healthy environment and in doing so is a smoke free environment. University Behavioral Center is accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC) and licensed by the State of Florida Agency for Health Care Administrations as a Class III Psychiatric Hospital.
