Universal Horror Unleashed is an innovative, year-round horror attraction developed by Universal Destinations & Experiences, a division of Comcast NBCUniversal. Set to open on August 14, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada, this immersive experience is designed to deliver a continuous stream of terror and excitement to horror enthusiasts.

Located within the expansive 20-acre AREA15 entertainment district, Universal Horror Unleashed occupies a 110,000-square-foot space. It is a significant addition to Las Vegas's entertainment landscape.

Haunted Houses

The attraction features four distinct haunted houses, each offering a unique and spine-chilling experience:

• Universal Monsters: Guests encounter legendary creatures from classic horror films, including Frankenstein's Monster, the Mummy, and the Wolf Man, reimagined in a gothic nightmare setting.
• The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: Visitors navigate the terrifying world of the Sawyer family, facing the infamous Leatherface in a gruesome and immersive environment.
• Scarecrow: The Reaping: An original story that transports guests to a desolate farmland overrun by vengeful scarecrows seeking retribution.
• Blumhouse’s The Exorcist: Believer: Based on the 2023 film, this house delves into the chilling world of demonic possession, offering a modern twist on a classic horror tale.

Additional Features

Beyond the haunted houses, Universal Horror Unleashed extends its immersive experience into four themed and interactive areas.

These feature live entertainment, horror-centric food and beverage offerings, and a retail space with exclusive merchandise.

Notably, "Jack's Alley," a bar and entertainment center themed to Jack the Clown, provides guests with the opportunity to interact with beloved Horror Nights mascots in a uniquely themed setting.

This horror attraction is primarily located in Las Vegas, Nevada, within the AREA15 district.

There is also a location in North Las Vegas, NV, USA, expanding its presence in the Las Vegas metropolitan area.

Plans are underway for a second location in Chicago, Illinois, set to open in 2027.

Future Expansion

In June 2025, Universal announced plans to expand the Universal Horror Unleashed concept with the Chicago venue, marking the company's first branded experience in the Midwest.
