Other

Tempe Public Market Cafe was a casual dining establishment located in Tempe, Arizona, that operated from January 2018 until its closure in January 2020. Situated at the intersection of Rural and Warner roads, the cafe was a sister concept to the Phoenix Public Market Cafe. Both were founded by chef Aaron Chamberlin and his brother, David Chamberlin.

The cafe's menu featured a variety of dishes crafted from locally sourced and organic ingredients, including pizzas, salads, sandwiches, and pastries. A notable addition was a selection of sheet-pan pizzas, offering a unique dining experience at the Tempe location.

The interior design of the cafe emphasized a modern aesthetic, incorporating preserved brick walls and a vaulted ceiling. The space included a climate-controlled patio area, providing a comfortable setting for patrons year-round. An outdoor fireplace served as a central feature, enhancing the ambiance of the dining experience.

In May 2019, the cafe underwent a month-long renovation to revamp its concept, introducing a new menu and fresh decor. Despite these efforts, the establishment closed permanently in January 2020.

Following its closure, Postino WineCafe announced plans to open a second location in the former Tempe Public Market Cafe space.

Restaurant Group

The Tempe Public Market Cafe was part of a broader restaurant group that included other establishments such as:

The Chamberlin brothers eventually separated their business interests. Aaron Chamberlin took over Phoenix Public Market Cafe and Taco Chelo, while David Chamberlin retained ownership of Ghost Ranch and Tempe Public Market Cafe.
