Tahoe Joe's

Tahoe Joe's is a renowned steakhouse chain based in California's Central Valley, celebrated for its rustic ambiance and high-quality, wood-grilled steaks. Established in 1995 by Fresno restaurateur Dave Fansler, the first location opened in Fresno, offering a dining experience reminiscent of a cozy ski lodge.

The restaurant's interior features pine log beams, hand-painted teepee lamps, and a stone fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Ownership and Expansion

In October 2021, BBQ Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que, acquired Tahoe Joe's. The goal was to rejuvenate the brand and expand its reach.

This acquisition included the five remaining Tahoe Joe's locations in Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield, Roseville, and Vacaville.
