St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute (SLBMI) serves the St. Louis Metropolitan Area in providing evidence-based behavioral health treatment. SLBMI’s multi-disciplinary teams are committed to providing compassionate care. In 1995, St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute became an established resource for behavioral healthcare in the St. Louis Metropolitan Community with three locations, including St. Louis City, Chesterfield, and Belleville, Illinois. The multidisciplinary professional staff includes psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, family medicine, internal medicine, nursing, licensed professional counselors, physical therapist, spiritual directors, art therapist and dietitians. Many aspects of our work involve multi-disciplinary teams working together to treat the individual needs of patients. The Institute offers various levels of care, depending on the patients’ needs ranging from individual outpatient, family, intensive outpatient programs, and partial hospitalization programs. Patients and families work with our professional teams to identify problems and formulate individual treatment plans and level of care.
