Southeast Polk Community School District

Southeast Polk Community School District (SEP) is a public school district located in suburban Des Moines and rural Polk County, Iowa. Established in 1962 through the consolidation of several districts, including Runnells, Altoona, and Mitchellville, SEP has grown to become the 13th-largest school district in Iowa. It serves over 7,000 students across 11 schools.
