Shepherd Center

Shepherd Center, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is a private, not-for-profit hospital specializing in medical treatment, research, and rehabilitation for individuals with complex conditions such as spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, strokes, multiple sclerosis, chronic pain, and other neuromuscular disorders.

Established in 1975, Shepherd Center has grown into one of the nation's leading rehabilitation facilities. It offers a comprehensive continuum of care that includes inpatient, outpatient, and residential services.

The main campus, situated in the Buckhead neighborhood, features a 152-bed rehabilitation hospital with a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit. This makes it the largest specialized care hospital of its kind in the United States.
