History

Founded in 1967 by Ted and Doris Isaacson as a painting business in Sacramento, California, Servpro expanded into cleanup and restoration services by 1969.

The company relocated to Gallatin, Tennessee, in 1988 to better serve a larger portion of the U.S. population. In 2019, Blackstone acquired a majority stake in Servpro, with the Isaacson family maintaining significant ownership.
