Scottish Rite for Children

Scottish Rite for Children is a renowned pediatric orthopedic hospital dedicated to providing exceptional care for children with orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, and certain related arthritic and neurological disorders, including learning disorders such as dyslexia.

Established in 1921 during the polio epidemic, the hospital was founded by a group of Texas Masons who recognized the need for specialized care for children affected by polio, regardless of their families' ability to pay.

Over the years, Scottish Rite for Children has expanded its focus to treat a wide range of pediatric orthopedic conditions, including scoliosis, clubfoot, hand differences, hip disorders, limb-length discrepancies, and sports injuries.
