The Sandhills Global Event Center, formerly known as the Lancaster Event Center, is a premier multi-purpose event venue located in Lincoln, Nebraska. Established in 2001, the center has become a cornerstone for community events, agricultural exhibitions, and entertainment.
The venue hosts over 300 events annually and attracts more than 600,000 visitors each year.
Renaming and Key Facilities
In December 2023, the Lancaster County Agricultural Society signed a 15-year naming rights agreement with Sandhills Global, Inc., resulting in the rebranding of the venue to the Sandhills Global Event Center.
The partnership led to renaming key spaces within the complex to reflect Sandhills Global's portfolio:

Event Hosting and Attractions
The center's facilities accommodate a wide range of events, including agricultural fairs, trade shows, livestock exhibitions, and community gatherings.
It serves as the home for the Lancaster County Super Fair, one of the nation's largest county fairs, drawing approximately 80,000 visitors annually.
Infrastructure Modernization
The Sandhills Global Event Center is currently undergoing a $10 million infrastructure modernization project. This project is supported by a $5 million grant from the Nebraska Department of Economic Development, matched by $5 million in funds.
The initiative aims to enhance visitor amenities such as lighting, digital signage, flooring, kitchen capacity, restrooms, horse stalls, drainage, and parking facilities. Completion is expected by 2026.
