Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU) is a private Christian liberal arts institution located in San Diego, California. Established in 1902, PLNU offers a comprehensive education grounded in Christian values. The focus is on whole-person development and academic excellence.
The university provides over 60 areas of study, granting Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees, along with graduate programs. Athletics and Campus Life
The university's athletic teams, known as the Sea Lions, compete in NCAA Division II as members of the Pacific West Conference. PLNU offers 11 intercollegiate varsity sports:

- Women's sports include basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, track & field, and volleyball
The Sea Lions have achieved notable success, including winning the National Scholastic Surfing Association college national championship six times.
