Pizza Hut (dba as EYM Pizza )

Pizza Hut, established in 1958, is a renowned American multinational pizza restaurant chain and international franchise. It operates over 19,800 restaurants worldwide, offering a diverse menu including various styles of pizza, pasta, chicken wings, and breadsticks.

In 2016, EYM Pizza became a significant franchisee of Pizza Hut, acquiring territories in Illinois and Indiana for $10.85 million. This was followed by expansions into Georgia, South Carolina, and Wisconsin. By 2024, EYM Pizza operated approximately 140 Pizza Hut locations across these states.

However, in July 2024, EYM Pizza filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, citing financial mismanagement and operational challenges. The company owed over $3 million in overdue payments and failed to meet performance standards. This led to the closure of several locations.

In response to the bankruptcy, Pizza Hut acquired 18 stores from EYM Pizza in Georgia, Illinois, and Wisconsin. This acquisition more than doubled Pizza Hut's company-operated store count in the U.S.

Current Locations

As of August 2025, Pizza Hut continues to operate numerous locations in the United States, offering a variety of menu items including signature pizzas, pasta dishes, chicken wings, and breadsticks.
