(MHC) is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing mental health services, promoting recovery for individuals with mental health conditions, and fostering community education on mental wellness. Established in 1908, MHC has a longstanding commitment to improving mental health services, combating discrimination, and empowering individuals through advocacy, education, and direct care services.

MHC offers a comprehensive range of services designed to support individuals in their mental health journey:

• Mental Health Concierge: This program provides flexible in-person and telehealth therapy, case management, and in-home support throughout Connecticut. It aims to bridge the gap for individuals seeking timely and appropriate mental health services, offering personalized care regardless of insurance status.
• Residential & Supportive Mental Health Services: MHC offers 24-hour supervised care, residential services, and in-home support to adults with mental health conditions. These services include person-centered recovery plans, skill-building activities, and engagement with family members to promote successful independent living.
• Art of Wellbeing: This program integrates creative expression with mental health and coping skills, offering free workshops and a studio space for individuals to explore various art forms as a means of healing and self-expression.
• Homelessness Prevention Programs: MHC actively participates in the Northwest Coordinated Access Network (CAN), providing outreach, prevention, and diversion services to individuals experiencing homelessness. The program assesses housing needs, develops action plans, and offers resources to prevent housing crises.
