Mayo Employees Federal Credit Union (MEFCU) is a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative dedicated to helping members achieve their financial goals. Established in 1933 by a group of Mayo Clinic business office employees, MEFCU has grown to over 74,560 member-owners with assets exceeding $1.42 billion.

Membership Eligibility

MEFCU offers membership to a diverse group, including employees of Mayo Clinic and affiliated entities, relatives of current MEFCU account holders, retirees, volunteers, and students of Mayo Clinic.

Eligible family members include spouses, children, parents, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, stepfamily members, household relationships, or family members in their care.
