Marian University, Inc. is a private Catholic institution located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Established in 1851 by the Sisters of St. Francis, the university has evolved into a comprehensive educational establishment offering a diverse range of programs and degrees.

The university's main campus spans 200 acres, approximately four miles northwest of downtown Indianapolis. This expansive campus includes notable facilities such as the Nina Mason Pulliam EcoLab, a 55-acre wetland and lowland forest, and the Riverdale Estate, which features the historic Allison Mansion.

Additionally, Marian University operates the Lake Sullivan Sports Complex, known as the Indy Cycloplex, which includes:

The Tom and Julie Wood College of Osteopathic Medicine, established in 2010, was the first osteopathic medical school to open at a Roman Catholic university and the first medical school to open in Indiana in over 100 years.
