Margaux Brasserie is a contemporary French restaurant located at The Corners of Brookfield in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Established in June 2024, it offers a modern take on classic French cuisine in a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.

The restaurant's interior design seamlessly blends traditional French elements with modern touches. The walls are adorned with blues and greens, complemented by artwork depicting bold, beautiful women from various cultures and historical periods.

Pops of red add a dynamic contrast, while a substantial bar with rounded corners serves as the focal point, featuring a brightly colored foundation and an eye-catching hanging glass and bottle rack.

Menu and Beverage Program

Margaux's menu is a celebration of French culinary traditions infused with contemporary flair. Signature dishes include mussels steamed in wine, fresh Niçoise salad, and steak frites.

For a more casual meal, the restaurant offers sandwiches served with frites and garlic aioli. The beverage program is curated by certified sommelier Joshua Steiner, featuring a predominantly French wine selection alongside options from American wineries in California and Oregon.

Signature cocktails like "The Way a Bird Sings Monet" and the French martini are also available.

Atmosphere and Seating Areas

In addition to the main dining area, Margaux features a lounge area adjacent to the bar, showcasing a library-style wine collection. This space provides comfortable seating for mid-day meetings, pre-dinner drinks, or convivial nightcaps.

The southern wall behind the bar boasts plush banquette seating against a custom mural by local artist Emma Daisy, depicting floral elements, birds, and an anonymous woman with a French bob, inviting viewers to project their own emotions onto the artwork.

The back dining room offers additional seating with leather banquettes, green soft seating, and standard bistro-style tables, all illuminated by large swags of colorful flowers and modern red lighting.

This room can be curtained off from the main dining area to accommodate private parties.
