About Maggiano’s Little Italy
Maggiano's Little Italy is a renowned American casual dining restaurant chain specializing in Italian-American cuisine. Established in 1991 in Chicago's River North neighborhood, the restaurant was founded by Rich Melman of Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises.
The inaugural location, situated at the corner of Clark Street and Grand Avenue, quickly gained popularity for its authentic dishes and warm, family-friendly atmosphere.
In 1995, Brinker International, Inc., a leading casual dining company, acquired Maggiano's. This facilitated its expansion across the United States.
As of March 2021, the chain boasts 54 locations spanning 22 states and the District of Columbia.
Maggiano's menu features a blend of classic and contemporary Italian-American dishes, including:
- Authentic pastas
- Signature salads
- Prime steaks
- Fresh seafood
- Specialty desserts
The restaurant offers brunch, lunch, and dinner services, along with delivery, carryout, and banquet facilities for special occasions.
The company emphasizes a strong, family-like culture among its employees, fostering a sense of belonging and ownership. This approach has contributed to low turnover rates and a dedicated workforce.
