About Lure Fishbar

Lure Fishbar is a renowned seafood restaurant offering a diverse selection of fresh fish, a comprehensive raw bar featuring rotating oyster varieties, and an exceptional sushi program. Established in 2004 by restaurateurs John McDonald and Josh Pickard, the original location is situated in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City.

The restaurant's interior is inspired by a yacht, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. The menu features a variety of raw and grilled fish dishes, including sushi and seafood pasta, as well as American-style desserts.

In addition to its original location in SoHo, Lure Fishbar has expanded its presence with other locations, including:

  • Union City, NJ, USA — a current location serving a broad range of seafood specialties.
  • Hackensack, NJ, USA — part of the restaurant's expansion in New Jersey.
  • Chicago, at 616 N. Rush Street — offering a similar menu and ambiance to the SoHo location.

The Miami location, opened in 2013 at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel, closed in May 2023 with plans to reopen in a new venue in the city.
