Louisville Bats are a professional baseball team based in Louisville, Kentucky. They serve as the Triple-A affiliate of Major League Baseball's Cincinnati Reds. Established in 1982 as the Louisville Redbirds, the team has undergone several name changes.

It became the Louisville RiverBats in 1999 and adopted the current Louisville Bats moniker in 2002. The team plays its home games at Louisville Slugger Field, a state-of-the-art ballpark along the Ohio River in downtown Louisville.
