The original Little America Hotel was established in 1952 near Green River, Wyoming, along Interstate 80. It started as a modest establishment with two fuel pumps, a 24-seat café, and 12 guest rooms.

Over the decades, it has expanded to include 140 rooms and a comprehensive travel center. This includes 55 fueling islands, a convenience store, a hot grill, and a deli catering to both travelers and truck drivers.
