About Lehigh Valley IronPigs
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs are a professional baseball team based in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Established in 2008, they serve as the Triple-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, competing in the International League. The team's name pays homage to the region's rich steel-making history, referencing "pig iron," a key component in steel production.
Home games are played at Coca-Cola Park, a state-of-the-art facility that opened in 2008. The park boasts a seating capacity of 10,178 and features amenities such as the Tiki Terrace & Oasis, providing fans with a tropical escape during games.
Team Achievements
The IronPigs have a storied history, including a notable achievement in 2018 when they secured their first Northern Division title with an 84–56 record, marking the highest winning percentage (.600) in franchise history.
