Jellyman Tea

Jellyman Tea is a contemporary bubble tea café located in the Silver Lake neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. Established in October 2023, the café is co-owned by actor and musician Donald Glover, also known as Childish Gambino, and Luke Wood, former president of Beats by Dre. Their vision was to create a unique space offering innovative beverages in a futuristic setting.

The café's interior, redesigned by architect Barbara Bestor, features a giant front window, bench seating, wood paneling, and Mexican tiles. This creates a space that feels like being on board a spaceship.

A prominent Jellyman statue by graphic artist Geoff McFetridge adds to the ambiance, while an original score by Academy Award-winning composer Ludwig Göransson fills the room.

Jellyman Tea offers an extensive menu of beverages crafted with fresh, organic ingredients made in-house. Signature drinks include:

• The Peanut Butter & Jelly, Man: roasted peanut milk, grape jelly, and maple sea salt foam
• The Hangover Cure: coconut water, lime, salted plum, and lapsang souchong tea
• The Rose Hibiscus Latte: a creamy, floral latte made with hibiscus and rose petals

Alternative milks and toppings such as chia seeds, grass jelly, egg pudding, maple sea salt foam, and "blue spots" made with butterfly pea are available. Most beverages allow customizable sweetness levels.
