Ivy Café is a distinctive restaurant located in Clayton, Missouri, renowned for its handcrafted, locally sourced cuisine and beverages. Established in July 2022 by longtime friends Julie Keane and Ashley Morrison, the café has quickly become a cherished spot in the community.

At the heart of Ivy Café's offerings are its artisanal tartines—open-faced sandwiches that serve as a canvas for a variety of fresh, seasonal ingredients. The café's signature sourdough bread, baked daily by Keane, provides a hearty base for these creations.

Notable tartines include the Meramec, topped with pan-seared Norwegian salmon marinated in Dijon, dill, and olive oil, and the Pershing, featuring fresh mozzarella, local tomatoes, fresh basil, and a truffle glaze.

Beyond tartines, Ivy Café's menu boasts a range of dishes such as quiches, salads, and pastries, all made from scratch using locally sourced ingredients. The café also offers a selection of specialty coffee drinks, including unique options like the Lavender Honey latte and the Iced Dreamsicle latte, as well as a curated wine list and hand-crafted cocktails.

Its hours are Monday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Expansion Plans

In addition to its flagship location in Clayton, Ivy Café has plans to expand, with a second location set to open in Kirkwood in 2026, bringing its unique blend of culinary excellence and community spirit to a broader audience.
