About Houston SPCA

The Houston SPCA, established in 1924, is Houston's first and largest animal protection organization. It is dedicated to promoting commitment to and respect for all animals by freeing them from suffering, abuse, and exploitation.

As a private, non-profit charity, the Houston SPCA relies entirely on donations and receives no funding from the government, United Way, or other animal groups. With your support, they help more than 45,000 animals each year.

Wildlife Center of Texas

This center is one of the most comprehensive wildlife rehabilitation facilities in the nation. It serves more than 16,000 native wildlife annually.

They provide emergency lifesaving care to injured, ill, and orphaned native wildlife, aiming to release these patients back to the wild. The center also offers educational programs to promote responsible environmental stewardship.
