About Great Harvest Bread Co
Great Harvest Bread Company is a U.S.-based bakery chain renowned for its fresh, whole-grain breads and wholesome baked goods. Established in 1976 by college students Pete and Laura Wakeman, the company began by selling fresh-ground whole wheat bread from a roadside stand in Durham, Connecticut.
Their passion for quality led them to open the first official bakery in Great Falls, Montana. By 1983, Great Harvest expanded into a franchise, becoming the nation's first whole grain bread franchise.

In addition to baked goods, some locations provide sandwiches and soups, allowing customers to enjoy a full meal.
