E-Z Mart Inc. is a privately held, family-owned convenience store chain that has been serving communities in the southern United States since its inception in 1970. Founded by Jim and FaEllen Yates in Nashville, Arkansas, the company began with a single store. It has grown to become a significant presence in the convenience retail sector.

Over the years, E-Z Mart expanded its footprint across Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas, operating nearly 300 stores. The company offered a range of products and services, including gasoline from major brands such as Shell, Conoco, Phillips 66, and CITGO. Convenience items like snacks, beverages, and basic groceries were also part of the offerings.

In 2018, E-Z Mart sold 273 of its convenience stores to GPM Investments LLC, marking a significant shift in the company's operations. This acquisition expanded GPM's presence into the Southwest, making it the sixth-largest convenience store chain in the United States at that time.

Following the sale, E-Z Mart continued to operate its headquarters in Texarkana, Texas, focusing on managing retained real estate, leased locations, and other business activities. The company also maintained operations in areas such as E-Z Street Liquor in Texarkana, Arkansas, and a Subway franchise in Foreman, Arkansas.
